Round The Fire
Young Adult Retreat for NC/SC
November 7-9, 2025 at Lake Junaluska

Join us as we gather ‘Round the Fire and seek to follow Jesus and rekindle the Methodist movement among young adults 40 and under.
‘Round the Fire is the very first young adult retreat of the Global Methodist Churches of North Carolina and South Carolina.
Where
Our retreat will be held at Lake Junaluska Assembly, which is located adjacent to
Waynesville, Maggie Valley, and only 45 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina. This location is
central for our two states and offers great facilities as well as abundant opportunities to enjoy
the North Carolina mountains.
When
Friday, November 7 th through Sunday, November 9 th
Who: Young adults 40 and under are invited to attend. This includes Laity and Clergy, recent
high school graduates, college students, those in the workforce, young parents, and even their
young children. Young people play an important role in the movement of the gospel and we are
excited to create spaces to nurture, equip, and network young believers in North and South
Carolina.
What
The ‘Round the Fire theme was selected to create an intimate space for reflection, retreat
from our daily tasks, and to be renewed in our walk with the Lord. The imagery of gathering
around a campfire caught the heart of our passion to spark a movement centered on the
essentials of the faith. Global Methodism is returning to the roots of our Wesleyan heritage, and
what better way to rekindle our faith than in simple spaces that invite the Holy Spirit to renew
our heart, renew our relationships with one another, and unite young people together as they
seek to lead in their homes, churches, and communities.
