Day 14: How Abundant Is Your Goodness

Scripture: “How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.” – Psalm 31:19

Two weeks in, and we’re closing this section with a stunning truth: God’s goodness isn’t scarce. It’s abundant. Overflowing.

“How abundant are the good things You have stored up.” Not might store up someday. Have stored up. Already prepared. Already waiting.

Notice who this is for: “those who fear you…those who take refuge in you.” Fear means reverence—taking God seriously. Refuge means running to God as your safe place.

This is the connection we’ve been building: When you know God is good, you learn to trust Him. When you trust Him enough to take refuge in Him, you discover He has abundant good things already prepared for you.

The world operates on scarcity: not enough to go around, fight for your share, hoard what you get.

God’s economy? Abundance. He doesn’t ration His goodness or give you just enough to get by. He stores up good things you haven’t seen yet, blessings you didn’t know to ask for, provision you’ll need tomorrow that He’s preparing today.

And this abundance is “in the sight of all.” God blesses you openly so others see His goodness and are drawn to Him too.

You are not too much for God. Your needs are not too big. Your mess is not too complicated. He has abundant good things stored up for you. Ask Him to open your eyes to see His work.

The Trust Triangle:

BELIEVE: God’s goodness toward me is abundant, not scarce. He has already prepared good things for my future.

RECEIVE: The good things God has for me aren’t earned—they’re stored up for those who take refuge in Him. That’s me. I can take refuge in Him.

RESPOND: Today, instead of living in scarcity and fear, I can live in the confidence that God’s goodness toward me is abundant. What would I do differently today if I truly believed that?

Reflection: Where have you been living in scarcity mindset instead of abundance mindset? What changes if you believe God has abundant good things already stored up for you?

Prayer: “Father, Your goodness is abundant, overflowing and already prepared for me. Forgive me for living like it’s scarce or like I have to fight for scraps. Today, I take refuge in You, believing You have good things stored up for me. Help me live in confidence instead of fear. Show me one way Your abundant goodness is at work in my life today.”
